The Evangelism Committee leads
the church in activities witnessing to Jesus Christ in our immediate
community, our county, our nation and around the world (Acts 1:8). The
church affirms that we are called to reach out in word and deed to those
beyond our walls, and we dedicate ourselves to being hospitable and
inviting within our walls. The Evangelism Committee ensures that all
forms of communication impact visitors’ positive perceptions of the church
and motivate them to become and stay involved. We continually create and
monitor our
1) Visibility from
outside (advertising, news releases, signage);
2) Welcoming behavior as people enter church (greeting, brief
orientation, signing guest book);

info, friendship forms, personal greeting time, invitation to coffee
hour);
4) Follow-up through personal letters, phone calls, and visits by
the pastor and other congregation members;
5) “Seekers and Learners” membership exploration class (given twice
annually – next class scheduled for November);

sub-ministries to college-age and lapsed members, visitors, new members,

Worship

the Pastor and Director of Music, plans and implements worship in our
church family. We seek to achieve a balance of worship experiences,
recognizing a diversity of worship styles and using the talents and gifts
of the congregation.Finance
We are
seeking members to help with the business of the church. Please
contact Randy Baukol, if you would like to be involved. The time commitment is not
great and the committee work is enjoyable. You will more fully understand
