Session Committees

Mission
Doing good for people outside the church:
1. Interpreting causes to the congregation
2. Encourage and guide in support: prayer and financial
3. Encourage and guide in personal engagement

Facilities
Our mission is to provide a place of beauty and inspiration in which all may participate and feel the power, glory and love of our creator.

Evangelism / Fellowship
The Evangelism Committee leads the church in activities witnessing to Jesus Christ in our immediate community, our county, our nation and around the world (Acts 1:8). The church affirms that we are called to reach out in word and deed to those beyond our walls, and we dedicate ourselves to being hospitable and inviting within our walls.  The Evangelism Committee ensures that all forms of communication impact visitors’ positive perceptions of the church and motivate them to become and stay involved.  We continually create and monitor our
1) Visibility from outside (advertising, news releases, signage);
2) Welcoming behavior as people enter church (greeting, brief orientation, signing guest book);
3) Communication with visitors during the worship service (bulletin info, friendship forms, personal greeting time, invitation to coffee hour);
4) Follow-up through personal letters, phone calls, and visits by the pastor and other congregation members;
5) “Seekers and Learners” membership exploration class (given twice annually – next class scheduled for November);
6) Activities that encourage involvement and retention (with sub-ministries to college-age and lapsed members, visitors, new members, and families)

Worship
The Worship Committee in consultation with the Pastor and Director of Music, plans and implements worship in our church family.  We seek to achieve a balance of worship experiences, recognizing a diversity of worship styles and using the talents and gifts of the congregation.

Finance
We are seeking members to help with the business of the church.  Please contact Randy Baukol, if you would like to be involved.  The time commitment is not great and the committee work is enjoyable.  You will more fully understand the business workings that goes on behind the scenes in the church.  Please consider this opportunity to serve your church and God.

Adult Education
We honor and serve the Lord by supporting Christian education activities for adults.

Youth Ministry
We honor and serve God by supporting youth in grades 6-12, by praying for youth, leaders and staff; by supporting the Director of Family Ministry and Church School teachers;.

Children's Ministry
Our mission is to guide children to learn, accept and share God's Word.
