Easter

The third week of March will be Holy Week, the week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
Outlined below are a number of special activities and events that are planned.

Palm Sunday, March 16	One Great Hour of Sharing offering will be dedicated. Praise Team at 9:30 service. Chancel Choir with handbells and Children's Palm Processional at the 11:00 service.
Wednesday, March 19	Taizé worship at 5:30 p.m. Supper Fellowship at 6:00 p.m., followed by Youth Group, Chancel Choir, and small group sessions.
Thursday, March 20	Maundy Thursday Supper and Worship, 6:30 p.m. at the United Church in Moscow (123 West 1st), commemorating the Last Supper and Jesus' arrest. The congregation from the Methodist Church will also participate. FPC members are asked to contribute fruit plates for the light supper.
Friday, March 21	Tenebrae Service of Darkness, 7:00 p.m. in our sanctuary. At this Good Friday service, we remember Christ's suffering and crucifixion through scripture and music.
Saturday, March 22	10:00 a.m. Family Easter Egg Hunt and Activities. Meet in Fellowship Hall for a fun morning of Easter activities. Please RSVP if you’re planning to attend: fpckids@turbonet.com or 882-4122.
Saturday, March 22	2:00 p.m. Youth “Egg”ceptional Celebration! Join us at the Fowlers for a youth-sized Easter Party. 5th-12th grades are invited! We’ll host an egg hunt, egg toss, egg drop and more! If you need a ride, please arrive at 1:30 p.m. in the church parking lot. Contact Donan Nealon with any questions.
Saturday, March 22	Easter Prayer Vigil, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and continuing overnight through midnight. Everyone is encouraged to come in and pray for an hour. There is a sign up sheet on the church office window.

6:30 a.m.	Easter Sunrise Service and potluck breakfast at Deary Community Center, 403 Line Street, just off US Hwy 8. Held jointly with the Bovill Community Presbyterian Church. Bring breakfast foods (rolls, casserole, muffins etc.) to share. (Note location change) When it comes to worshipping our risen Lord on Easter morning, we will not be deterred! Every year we join with our friends from Bovill Community Presbyterian Church for an Easter Sunrise Service at Lael. Lael is snowed in, so we will relocate the sunrise service to the Deary Community Center, located at 403 Line Street in Deary (northwest corner of Highway 8 and Line Street). The service, led by Pastor Bob Wofford, Pastor Norman, and the Praise Team, begins at 6:30 a.m. and will conclude with a potluck breakfast. Don't miss this chance to celebrate our Easter joy with our extended church family from Bovill.
9:30 a.m.	Easter Worship in our sanctuary with the Praise Team will include Flowering the Cross
10:00-11:30 a.m.	Potluck Easter Brunch in Fellowship Hall- 9:30 worship attendees will brunch a little later and 11:00 worship attendees will brunch a little earlier. Foods to bring: breakfast casseroles, side dishes and salads, fruit, and breakfast breads.
11:00 a.m.	Traditional Worship with Chancel Choir, Brass, and Handbells will include Flowering the Cross
