DEACONS’ BENEVOLENCE OFFERING FOR APRIL
For the month of April the Deacon’s Benevolence Offering will go to Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse. ATVP provides 24-hour emergency and supportive services to families and sexual violence victims and survivors and their children in both Latah and Whitman Counties. ATVP services are free, confidential, and are provided to clients without discrimination. ATVP maintains a safe, confidential shelter here on the Palouse for people in danger due to domestic violence, and also provides
food and clothing as well as emotional support and case management. Checks should be made out to First Presbyterian Church with Deacon’s April Benevolence in the Memo line. Thank you!

PENTECOST SPECIAL OFFERING
April 1 to May 19, 2024
A gift to the Pentecost Offering helps the our denomination encourage, develop, and support its young people, and also address the needs of at-risk children.
40% of the Pentecost offering is retained by our congregation to make an impact in the lives of young people within our own community. This year, this portion of the offering will be used to support our FOON outreach to Moscow High students.
60% is sent to PC(USA) to be used to support children-at-risk, youth, and young adults through ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency.
Donations may be made by sending a check to First Presbyterian Church, 405 S. Van Buren Street, Moscow ID 83843, with "OGHS" in the memo line. Or you may give online directly to PCUSA Special Offerings.
