Music Ministry

Music provides a means for us to praise God and lift our hearts in worship.  Embracing the diversity within our congregation, we strive to enrich worship through the incorporation of a wide variety of music. We involve the congregation more deeply in worship through singing of hymns and praise songs, and present vocal and instrumental offerings to God as part of our worship. We offer a variety of ways for our congregation to serve in our music ministry:

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir provides anthems, responses and musical leadership for Sunday worship. The choir rehearses in the sanctuary on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. New choir members, high-school age and older, are always welcome. Contact the church office for more information.

Praise Team

The Praise Team leads congregational singing and offers anthems to God on behalf of the congregation in Sunday worship. Rehearsals take place every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. The group currently consists of vocalists, flute, guitar, bass, and percussion. Additional members welcome. To become part of our Praise Team, contact the church office.

The church has four octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and 2 octaves of Malmark Handchimes. Youth and adult groups present music in worship for special Sundays throughout the year.

Instrumentalists and Vocalists

Year-round opportunities for members and friends with musical talents to offer solos or accompaniments to other musical groups for worship, Sunday School, nursing home services and special events.

Through our worship, we offer our prayers, our praise, and ourselves to God.  Through worship, we honor and glorify God, our Creator and Redeemer, and learn to become disciples of Christ, equipped to make a difference in our world. We seek to help worshipers connect with God on a personal level and experience the joy of His love and grace.

Worship Schedule
